Job Title: SUPERVISOR RESEARCH & BUSINESS ANALYSIS (1 VACANCIES) REF. DSC 15/70/02 [32] SALARY SCALE: UGANDA GOVERNMENT SCALE - KCCA 6 AGE: 28 YEARS AND ABOVE MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND WORKING EXPERIENCE: Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honors Bachelor’s Degree either Economics or Law or Business Studies/Administration/Commerce or Taxation and Revenue Administration or any other course closely related to any of the above fields plus a minimum of a Post Graduate Diploma in any of the above fields from a recognized University/Institution. A minimum of a certificate in Specialized Training (Taxation and Revenue Administration) from recognized University/Institution will be an added advantage. Applicants should have a minimum of five (5) years working experience, three (3) of which should have been gained at Senior Officer level in Government or equivalent Supervisory level of relevant experience from a reputable organization. He/she should have the following Key competences: Proven integrity and confidentiality, Management and supervision, oral and written communication, Strategic thinking and planning, setting up a team and developing subordinates, interpersonal relations, proven integrity and confidentiality. DUTIES:- The incumbent will be responsible to the immediate Supervisor for performing the following duties:- PSC EXTERNAL ADVERT NO. 5/2012 29  Identifying and documenting business requirements and work flows resolve ambiguities and conflicting business and build consensus among stakeholders.  Liaising with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies and information systems.  Carrying out analysis of business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements.  Providing support to directorates by gathering and analyzing data in the establishment and/or maintenance of corporate business processes.  Conducting and coordinating of studies and analysis on resource allocation, evaluation reviews and analyze business performance  Coordinating the management of change requests in relation to the corporate strategy to ensure agreed deadlines are met.  Analyzing the existing business trends and generate reports for managements’ adoption on strategic directions based on business insights  Managing the performance and development of staff in accordance with the Performance Management guidelines  Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
