Sales Manager Job Vacancy at UAP Insurance in Uganda


The job holder will be responsible for putting in place a competent, motivated and productive team of Unit Managers and Agents that is able to aggressively and successfully promote UAP Individual Life business and achieve set performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

    Build and maintain a productive Sales Agency force countrywide
    Achieve the  approved Sales  performance benchmarks
    Initiate  aggressive Agency force  recruitment campaigns countrywide
    Develop performance standards and processes for the Agency team and ensure compliance with the set standards
    Develop reward based incentives and motivational campaigns for the Agency force
    Initiate Market development & penetration strategies countrywide
    Establish relevant  training programs for the Agency force
    Develop personal self-development guidelines for Unit leaders & Agents in accordance with the approved business plans.
    Ensure optimal utilization of all available Company resources in all areas of management, Agency development training and customer service.
    Assume overall responsibility for the management and administration of the Life Agency Offices countrywide in line with the strategic objectives of the Company.

Academic & professional qualifications

A good university degree is a basic requirement plus a Diploma in Sales & Marketing is very essential.

Minimum years of experience required for the job

At least 3 years working experience in managing a Sales Team with a proven track record in performance.
