Job Title: Program Officer , Local  Accountability
Democratic Governance  Facility  Uganda  is recruiting  qualified candidates  for the vacant position above.
Academic
•    A  Master’s   Degree , in an  area  such as  development  studies,  good  governance,  public policy, political  science from a  recognized  University .
•    Further qualifications and  experience in  project management  & administration  would    be a  district  advantage .
Competencies
•    Good  knowledge  of current development  challenges  and political  developments  in Uganda , especially in the  area  ofgood governance .
•    At least five years experience  in the management  of  development  programs  and projects .
•    At least 3   years specific  experience working  on development  projects within  the  area of  strengthening  accountability  and  tackling  corruption at local  and national  level.
•    High  standards  of  personal integrity  and a committed to  democratic  governance.
