Post: Assistant Program Manager
ACF is looking for an Assistant to the Nutrition Surveillance Program Manager (APM) to be based in MOROTO. The person will be under the direct supervision of the Program Manager.
Responsibilities
• Assist the programme manager in creating programme awareness to community, working relationship with DHO/DHT team and local authorities.
• Participate in the definition of the technical surveillance strategy
• Participate in organization and facilitation of trainings.
• Play an active role in data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Inform arising problems to PM with possible solutions in time.
• Actively participate in the program reporting and give support to other ACF departments.
• Participate in organization and facilitation of trainings.
• In the absence of PM, ensure the overall program management.
Academic Qualifications:
• BSc .in nutrition / dieitery or related fields with medical and nutrition background
Experience:
• Minimum 2 years experience in nutrition surveillance at supervisory level.
• Experience in capacity building programmes desirable.
Specific Skills:
• Qualitative and quantitative data analysis skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to support, motivate, and train field staff,
• Computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Power point, internet, and email are a must.
Personal skills
• Ability to communicate with national and international multicultural team.
