Job title: Business Growth Chief Manager
Reports to: General Manager Operations

Role:
Market Bank's products and manage customer relationships through Pro-active and consultative approaches with aim of enhancing profits and acquire profitable new Banking liability business through the creation, development and maintenance of high quality customer advisory relation-standards

Key Result Areas:
1. Generate new business to achieve defined sales targets in liabilities and assets to grow market share in line with the banks strategic direction.
2. Recommend changes required to meet target customers' expectations whilst fully in compliance with Bank policies.
3. Analyze and monitor market trends and make appropriate recommendations for banks product development.
4. Design and Implement techniques and processes aimed at capturing risks and likely returns to guide products development in the bank.
5. Evaluate banks products on a regular basis and make recommendation on the necessary improvements required for the bank to remain competitive in the market as per the banks strategic plan
6. Develop and maintain a robust and a loyal core customer base through maintaining high standards of customer services as per bank policies and procedures.
7. Research on the economic, political and other factors affecting the banking industry and make appropriate recommendations to the bank as per the bank's policies
8. Market bank's products in all sectors of the Ugandan market in line with set targets and bank’s strategic objectives.
9. Generate sales reports to monitor, manage and improve sales performance for each segment portfolio.

Required competences and experience
• An Honor's degree in Commerce, Business Administration from a recognized University
• Post Graduate qualification's in Marketing/banking/Financial management or other relevant field
• At least 5 years hands on banking experience at a man¬agerial level in a large financial institutions
• High degree of integrity as the job entails handling very confidential information
• Good Selling and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage numerous deliverable in a timely and effective manner
• Good knowledge of Banking Practices
