Job title: Project Officer M and E, CDC 1020,
Location: Nakasongola/ Gulu
Reporting to: Project M and E Manager.
Job Objective
Reporting to the Project M and E Manager for CDC 1020, the job holder will lead implementation of the M and E component of the CDC 1020 project in either g districts in the central region or 7 districts in the Northern Region of Uganda,

Description of duties
* Focus on improving data collection, monitoring, and tracking of safe male circumcision.
* Ensuring that special communities are reached with positive prevention and behaviour change messages, IEC/BCC materials circulated, HCT and door-to-door counselling and testing services provided.
* Establishment of condom distribution sites and ensuring condom distribution, adop¬tion and sustainability of positive prevention behaviours by beneficiaries.
* Promotion of involvement of project staff, and other relevant stakeholders in strengthening and utilising existing M and E frameworks and health management information systems at district and community level.
* Designing and monitoring a project M and E database to track relevant indicators and targets.

Qualifications and Relevant experience
* The applicant should have a degree, specialization or post graduate training in M and E, Bio-Statistical Analysis, Data Management, or other relevant fields.
* At least 3 years experience in designing and implementing participatory health related project M and E systems with an International NGO.
* Preparation and execution of project and district monitoring tools and plans.
