Role •The M and e will focus on improving data collection, monitoring and tracking of client case detection of client case detection (CDR) and treatment success rates (TSR) for beneficiaries using the National TB and Leprosy Programme guidelines.

Job Title: Project Officer M and E DANIDA SRH Project
Location: Kitgum and Gulu District
Reporting to: Project Manager

Description of duties

•The M and e will focus on improving data collection, monitoring and tracking of client case detection of client case detection (CDR) and treatment success rates (TSR) for beneficiaries using the National TB and Leprosy Programme guidelines.
• S/he will promote involvement of project staff, local government, health workers, and communities in strengthening and utilizing existing M and E frameworks and health
• S/he will also design and monitor a project M and E database to track relevant indicators and targets using information gathered from nationally approved forms, including health facil¬ity data, DOTS service availability, application of effective monitoring measures, applica¬tion of collaborative management of TB/HIV guidelines, and Village Health Team involvement in TB interventions.


Qualifications and relevant experience:
• The applicant should have a degree, specialization or post graduate training in M and E, Bio-Statistical Analysis, Data Management, or other relevant fields.
• At least 3 years experience in designing and implementing participator,health related project M and E systems.
