Career Opportunities in NAADS - Uganda Agricultural Advisory Service Provider

Job Title:  Agricultural Advisory Service Provider.

Duty Station: Pingire, Kadungulu, Kyere, Kateta, Olio, Atiira, Labori and Bugondo Sub counties.

Reports to: Chairman sub county farmer’s forum through the sub county NAADS coordinator.



Duties and responsibilities:

-         To advise and provide information and knowledge on improved farming and agricultural practices.

-         To disseminate and develop farmer skills on management of improved agricultural technologies.

-         To provide information on marketing and trading activities, input supply, storage and product processing.



Qualifications:

Diploma from a recognized institution in either agriculture, livestock management (Vet), fisheries or entomology.



Experience:

-         Experience standard computer packages is required.

-         Knowledge of the local language is an added advantage.
