Job Title:  Drivers – G2

Duty Station: Kitido

Starting Date: Early 2011



Duties and responsibilities:

-         Provision of reliable and secure driving services.

-         Driving office vehicles for the transport of authorized personnel and delivery and collection of mail, documents and other items.

-         Ensure that all immediate actions required by rules and regulations are taken in case of involvement in accident.

-         Expected to keep all required documents including vehicle insurance, vehicle logs, office directory , map of the city/ country, first aid kit, necessary for spare parts.



Qualifications:

-         Secondary Education, Valid Driver’s license.

-         Thorough knowledge of traffic rules and regulations, skills in carrying out minor vehicle repairs and maintenance .

-         Ability to operate mobile radio communication equipment will be added advantage,

-         Minimum of 2 years work experience as a driver.

-         Good geographical knowledge of the country.

-         Fluency in English, and the local language of the duty station/district will be added advantage.
