Job Title: Programme Officer
Reports to: Board Chairperson.


Major Responsibilities and Key Result Areas:
- Take a leading role in project design and concept development putting in context the organizational direction and strategies with a child focused goal.
- Ensure that quality assurance of programme delivery is achieved in a timely manner as planned to the satisfaction of the beneficiaries and supervisor(s).
- Participate in project proposal writing.
- Develop strategies to mobilize locally available financial and other resources.
- Ability to mentor community structure & leadership is effectively working and supported.

Requirements:
- University degree in Education, Development Studies, Social and Social Administration or closely related field. Additional training in Project Planning & Management is an added advantage
- At least 2 years work experience in programming work at same level with NGOs and CBOs in rural setting.
- Have thorough working knowledge of project management.
- People management skills & working with communities in a rural set up.
- Facilitation and mentoring skills.
- Interested in developing the capacity of others.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- High level of stewardship.
- Highly flexible work beyond normal working hours whenever need arise
- 25-35 years.
