REPORTS TO: Principal Clinical Officer
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Inspector, Cold Chain Technician
MAIN PURPOSE: To assist the DHO in ensuring effective, efficient and affordable delivery of health services for the well-being of the population of District and ensure quality assurance in all Health Institutions in the District.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have a Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Community Health or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Must be registered with the Allied Health Professionals Council.
•Must have served for at least three (3) years as a Health Worker.
DUTIES:
•Diagnosing, treating and managing patients.
•Participating in planning, directing, budgeting, co-ordination, monitoring and evaluation of clinical work.
•Managing and accounting for allocated resources

Referring complicated cases
•Conducting health education to patients.
•Ensuring quality assurance in clinical work.
•Participating in research activities.
•Imparting knowledge and skills to students and staff.

Applications are invited from suitably and eligible persons to fill the vacant posts, that exist in Kabale District Local Government, Kabale Municipal Council and Katuna, Muhanga and Hamurwa Town Councils. Applications, filled in triplicate on Public Service Form No.3 (Revised 2008), should be submitted to the Secretary, District Service Commission P.0. Box 5 Kabale to be received not later than 13th January, 2010.The application forms are obtainable from Public Service Commission Offices, Kampala and District Service Commission offices country wide.
