Job Title: Infrastructure Consultant
Department: Engineering
Location: Kampala & Field based.
Responsibilities / Key Objectives:
- Adhere to Tullow EHS policies and standards.
- Develop execution/contracting/financing strategies to complete projects in required timelines and to stakeholder expectations.
- Manage all interfaces with relevant government departments, private companies and partners with respect to infrastructure development.
- Effectively communicate with Senior Management Team.
- Coordinate and monitor the work of consultant and contactors during the definition stage of all infrastructure projects.
- Lead discussion internally and externally on possible finance infrastructure projects.
- Lead study teams comprising of Tullow personnel and external consultants to develop concepts and alternatives for various infrastructure projects.
Experience and Education:
- 15-20 years in an infrastructure background.
- Experience in oil & gas industry’s desirable but not essential.
- Demonstrable, project lead responsibility including for significant $500m + work.
- Developed management and interpersonal skills with the capability to lead a cross functional team.
- Awareness and sensitivity to multinational exposures and cultures.
- Primary degree in a relevant engineering or similar discipline.
