Job Title: DATA MANAGER

Reports to: Project Manager CSF/RRH Project Key Responsibilities and Duties:
• Design a data management system for the project; the system must capture information needed for project purposes; Regional Referral Hospitals and IDI purposes; and CSF reporting purposes including training appropriate staff at partner facilities on how to collect and manage data
• Support staff at Regional Referral hospitals to collect all data necessary for performance as well as Ministry of Health reporting requirements
• Design forms on which paper-based data can be collected at partner facilities; ensure that forms are compatible with IDI's electronic data management system
• Work with Regional Referral Hospitals to develop protocols and guidelines about what information should be gathered when; ensure implementation
• Establish systems for sharing data between partner facilities (and between facilities and the project office)
• Provide on-going support to ensure quality of data gathered
• Ensure completeness, accuracy and consistency of data entered into the project data management system
• Produce summaries of data for project reporting and other purposes


Job requirement

Qualifications and Skills
• A Bachelors Degree in a relevant field
• At least 5 years of related experience
• Knowledge of HIV/AIDS clinical environment is essential
- Strong computer skills; knowledge of the range of computer programs normally used-for data capture and retrieval
