Job Title: Procurement Officer - Grants/HEA
Report to: Procurement Manager Location: National Office, Kampala
Purpose of this role: To procure goods and services for respec¬tive Organizational stakeholders in accordance with procurement policies and guidelines

Major Responsibilities;
• Carry-out the procurement of goods and services based on agreed specifications in line with procurement policies and guidelines.
• Prepare contracts tor specialized works and services {Consul¬tancies), award contracts to selected vendors and monitor their implementation in line with procurement policies and guidelines
• Carry-out systematic and procedural disposal of fixed assets and obsolete inventory in tine with the World Vision asset disposal policy.
• Manage procurement systems, analyze procurement informa¬tion for decision-making and provide documentation to project staff in line with the WVU procurement policy
• Prepare monthly and annual reports on departmental activities in accordance with the World Vision Policies and Procedures.


Job requirement

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Must have a University Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management or its equivalent, a post graduate qualifica¬tion in Procurement and Supply Chain Management is an added advantage.
• Strong procurement and supply management skills
• Must be computer literate with a minimum of 2 years working experience in Procurement and Supply Chain Management
• A high level of integrity is required.
