Reporting to: Project Manager for Malaria CIDA Project
Job Objective
Based in Nakasongola, the job holder will lead the implementation of the M&E component of the Project and ensure involvement of stakeholders in strengthening and utilizing existing M&E frameworks and health management information systems.
Summary of Key Roles and Responsibility
Participate in the formulation of project indicators and design of data collection tools, including the activity database development.
Participate in the development/ review of key M&E documents that include; the M&E plan, PMP document and M&E work plans amongst others.
Undertake routine monitoring, data collection, collation and entry of Malaria activities in addition to systematic filing and proper storage of data collection tools.
Prepare Monthly and quarterly monitoring reports to inform management of project progress.
Enhance project and local government staff, health workers and VHTs capacity to appropriately use activity report tools/ forms and appreciate the importance of M&E.
Participate in quarterly internal data audits to avoid double counting and bias for accurate reporting.
Design and monitor the project M&E database.
Participate in quarterly program reviews and ensure timely submission of reports.
Monitor and track maternal health and circulate IEC/BCC materials.
Ensure access of health services and ITNs to pregnant women and children.
Ensure comprehensive outreaches, distribution of LLITNs, and adoption of positive prevention.
Other project shared duties that may be advised by your supervisor.
Qualifications and Relevant Experience
A Degree, specialization, or post graduate training in M&E, Bio-statistical analysis, Data management, or other relevant field.
At least 3 years experience in a similar role with an International NGO.
