Job Title: Mechanic

Air Uganda (U7) is an AKFED company and part of the Celestair Group of African airlines; we are committed to providing maximum safety, security, comfort, punctuality and service satisfaction to all our customers. The company has been expanding since its inception in November 2007 and currently operates modern jet aircraft on a route network from Entebbe to Juba, Nairobi, Dar-es-Salaam, Kigali, Mombasa & Zanzibar. There are also new route expansions planned for later in 2011 & 2012.

Responsibilities
• To ensure timely servicing and repair of all ramp and mechanical equipment
• To ensure safe custody of equipment and tools


Job requirement

Qualifications, Experience and skills
• Must have a minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent certificate
• A minimum of 4 years experience in mechanics, preferably with airport ramp equipment
• Physically fit and a good team player
