Reports to: Well Operations Superintendent

Job Purpose: Well Operations Superintendent

Job Purpose:
To execute and manage well site operations to deliver the well objectives safely within the minimum environmental impact and within budget

Main Accountabilities:
• To provide day to day operational and technical expertise in execution of rig operations
• To deliver well plans and objectives
• To plan for future operations and ensure required materials and services are available at rig site in an efficient timeframe
• To provide concise and informative daily reports

Qualifications:
• Minimum of a tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline preferably in mechanical or petroleum engineering
• Minimum of 8 years’ work experience in supervision of drilling and completions engineering/’ operations preferably in remote locations
• Valid Well Controls Certificate

Knowledge and Skills:
• Planning and organizing skills
• High proficiency in IT and industry software including MS Suite
