Job Title: Cost and Planning Manager
Reports to: Surface Engineering Manager Uganda

Job Purpose:
To effectively plan and manage costs, risks and estimates of the Business as well as manage the project control systems

Main Accountabilities:
• To operate and maintain detailed sytems and written procedures for the business unit that will satisfy the requirements of quality accreditation and periodic audits
• To prepare annual operational plans for the business Unit
• To ensure effective support to the company’s needs for integrated Project Controls on the Business Unit

Qualifications:
• Minimum university Degree or its equivalent in a relevant Engineering or similar discipline
• A membership of a professional body such as Association for Project Management (APM) or Association of cost Engineers (ACostE)
Experience:
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in planning cost or estimating in an oil and gas related field
• Experience in industry standard project controls systems such as primavera, artemis, or Ms project
• Prior experience in management of major projects in oil and gas
• Experience of cost management and estimating tools such as Kildrummy, SAP, or PRISM

Knowledge and Skills:
• Highly conversant in both planning and cost engineering methodologies
• People Management Skills
