Job Title: Research Fellow
Reports to: director

Minimum Qualifications and other Requirements
• A PhD by June 2012
• All levels of experience will be considered
• Applicants must have a well defined research agenda and a strong commitment to teaching in a graduate programme

Area of Specialization:
• Candidates must fall within any of the following areas of specialization
• Political Studies
• Political Economy
• Historical Narratives
• Cultural and Literacy Studies

Duties and Responsibilities:
• To publish a minimum of one article a year
• To participate in writing of at least one policy brief annually in the area of specialization
• To participate in the planning a MISR workshop and book publication annually
• To perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Director
