Job Title: Manager, Financial Accounting
Reports to: head, Finance Department

Job Description:
• Oversee UPL’s accounting and reporting operations including maintaining sun
• Periodically review operating procedures and ensure that internal controls are in place
• Oversee management of fixed assets, payroll and budgeting
• Ensure that standard payments are effected on time
• Carryout any other duties as may be assigned to by the supervisor from time to time

Qualifications:
• Minimum of bachelors degree in commerce, business administration or financial management majoring in accounting from recognized university or institution
• Full professional accounting qualifications ( eg ACCA,CPA,CA)

Work Experience and other competencies:
• Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience from a reputable organization
• Demonstrable progressive and professional accounting experience, knowledge of computerized accounting, good report writing skills
