Job Title: Head- HIV/AIDS Prevention
Salary Scale: UAC 4
Reports to: Director- Policy, Research & Programming
Responsible for: HIV/AIDS Prevention Officer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• To formulate and implement suitable HIV/AIDS prevention strategies programme for the national response
• To coordinate the implementation of the national HIV/AIDS prevention strategies and programme
• To develop proposals for the mobilization of resources to support the national HIV/AIDS response

Person Specifications:
Qualifications:

• A bachelors degree in MBCHB or an equivalent from a recognized institution
• A masters Degree in Public Health, Epidemiology or a related field

Experience:

• A minimum of 8 years working experience, 3 of which must have been at a senior level in Government, NGO or a reputable organization
• Proficiency in proposal writing
