Zonal Coordinator Job Vacancy at Uganda Aids Commission

Job Title: Zonal Coordinator
Salary Scale: UAC5
Reports to Head - Decentralized Response
Responsible for: Zonal Field Officers

Purpose of the Job:
 To provide a linkage between Uganda AIDS Commission and Local Governments in coordinating the implementation of the national strategic plan for HIV/AIDS in assigned regions

Duties and Responsibilities

• To coordinate Regional advocacy and communication initiatives
• To provide technical support to the decentralized coordination structures in order to perform their functions
• To monitor implementation of HIV/AIDS zonal work plans

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, B. Com, Statistics, economics, social sciences or humanities from a recognized institution
• A post graduate qualification in public Administration

Experience:

• A minimum of 4 years experience in a management position in government or reputable organization
• Experience with local governments is an added advantage
