Job Title: Laboratory Technician
NARO   is  seeking to employ  qualified suitable  applicants   to fill the  above vacant post.
Responsibilities
•    In  collaboration  with  researchers ,support and conduct  research in soil  chemistry following  specified  research  methodology
•    Carry-out laboratory  preparation , testing and analyzing  of soil and  plant tissue  samples , observing  quality control  procedures and  good laboratory  practice
•    Performing chemical  analysis  for detailed  survey and management  purposes
•    Organizing and  processing  of laboratory  data  in  spreadsheets  prior to detailed  analysis

Qualifications
•    Hold an  A- level  certificate  with a good principal  pass in chemistry  and  physics
•    Hold a Diploma in  laboratory  science  technology majoring in chemistry
•    Have basic knowledge  of handling  and  maintaining laboratory equipments
•     Good computer skills
•    Experience in working  in a soil analytical  laboratory  will be  an added advantage
