Job Title: Technical  Manager

Uganda Insurers Association is an umbrella  body  that promotes  the development  and expansion  of  sound  insurance  and  reinsurance activities in Uganda .
Responsibilities
•    Carrying out  periodic  inspections   of   insurance  companies , branch and agency  offices  to ensure compliance  in management  and sales  of  Motor  Third  Party Insurance  and follow  up on any  fraudulent  actions  (including  recommendations  on actions  that should  be  taken)
•    Liaison  with  Traffic  police  and  Government  on the enforcement  of Motor  Third Party insurance .
•    Review  of the  regularly  requirements  and other  aspects  pertaining to  Non-life  insurance  and  identify areas for improvement  or discussion , and proposed solutions .

Qualifications
•    Applicants   should  possess  an  honors degree  in Insurance  or  a business discipline.  A  professional  qualification  in insurance  will be  an added advantage .
•    Minimum of three  years  experience  at management  level  with  a reputable   Insurance  Company
•    Must possess  excellent  analytical  and communication  skills.
•    Must be a  person  with high  integrity , good  analytical  and interpersonal skills.
