Job Title: Head of Legal and Regulatory
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and manage the legal affairs of ATC Uganda
• Provide sound legal advice to senior management team on all matters of the corporation
• Ensure legal practice and regulatory compliance of the company’s business within the Ugandan framework

Qualification and experience specifications
The successful candidate must have:
• Good understanding of the Ugandan economy and an appreciation of the culture and environment associated with commercial legal matters in the telecommunication industry
• Demonstrable track record of performance, executive presence and decision making are a key
• Evidence of the ability to interact, relate to, work with and support the activities of a dynamic corporation’s highly qualified staff and board members is desirable


We are looking for a candidate who holds a good Juris Doctorate or equivalent Law Degree from a recognized University. The candidate must have at minimum of 8 years experience serving as a corporate, real estate and transactional attorney, prior experience working in UK, SA and USA based law firms, or legal education in the USA, SA or UK will be an added advantage
