REPORTS TO: MANAGER COMPLIANCE
ROLE: To plan and supervise the management of internal affairs and monitor
adherence to the set operational standards and practices in line with the
relevant legislation and policy frame works.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications
Essential:
a) An honors’ degree in law (LLB)
b) A Post Graduate diploma in legal practice
c) Enrolment as an advocate
d) Credit in Math and English at O’ level
Desirable:
Training in criminal investigations
Experience and Knowledge
a) At least three (3) years experience in handling investigations in a large organization.
b) Knowledge and experience in progressing criminal cases will be an added advantage.
Character & Abilities:
a) Strong analytical capability, innovative and critical thinking
b) Excellent communication skills including report writing
c) Ability to multi task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
d) Team working and interpersonal skills
e) Ability to train, coach and mentor
f) Knowledge of company law and relevant laws relating to management and
governance of organizations in Uganda
g) High ethics, integrity and confidentiality.
