Job Title: Information Systems Auditor  (04 Vacancies)
JOB CODE: HRM/051/604
REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR INFORMATION SYSTEMS AUDITOR
ROLE: To monitor and implement the internal audit function (plan) including the
Information systems and operations review in accordance with the IIA
International Practices Framework, International Auditing Standards and
URA Internal Audit Charter.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

Qualifications

Essential:
a) Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology Computer Engineering with
bias in Statistics, Commerce or the equivalent.
b) Professional qualification in Auditing and Accounting (CISA. CISM, CRISC, CGEIT,
CFA, IIA, QiCA, CISSP, MCSE.)
c) Credit in Mathematics and English

Desirable:
Additional qualification in Accounting such as CPA, ACCA is an added advantage
Experience and Knowledge:
a) At least 1-2 years’ experience in an audit function in a large organization
b) Knowledge and operational experience in the application of IT/IS risk management,
business process assurance and of various Tax Laws as well as macro/micro
economics

Character & Abilities:
a) Strong analytical capability, innovative and critical thinking
b) Ability to multi task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
c) Audit planning, implementation and review capability
d) Team working and interpersonal skills
e) Knowledge of company law and relevant laws relating to management and
governance of organizations in Uganda
f) High ethics, integrity and confidentiality.
