Job Title: Officer  Internal  Audit  (02 Vacancies)
JOB CODE: HRM/ 051/601
REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR INTERNAL AUDIT

ROLE: To execute the audit assignments by reviewing processes, systems and
procedures, of assigned departments /Divisions or Sections in line with
audit program, guiding policies, laws, regulations, and IIA International
Practices Framework, International Auditing Standards and URA Internal
Audit Charter.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications
Essential:
a) An Honor’s Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business
Administration , Economics, Information Technology or related fields
b) Credit in Mathematics and English
Desirable:
Professional qualifications in Accounting, Auditing, Information Technology, Ethics &
Integrity

Experience and Knowledge:
a) Minimum 1-2 years auditing experience
b) Should have excellent Computer skills
c) Knowledge of current auditing practices and trends
d) Extraction, analysis and interpretation of data and information
e) Appraisal of financial systems, procedure, controls and policies
f) Preparation and presentation of audit reports
g) Development of audit strategies and audit operations management
h) Audit planning and execution
i) Execution of special investigations of systems, policies, procedures and activities
j) Knowledge of accounting packages and automated Audit processes

Character & Abilities:
a) Should have strong Presentation, Interpersonal and Analytical Skills
b) Teamwork, Resilient and Innovative
c) Excellent Planning, Organizing & keen to deadlines
