REPORTS TO: SUPERVISOR CORPORATE BRAND MANAGEMENT
ROLE: To develop and implement activities that enhance the URA brand by
analyzing market trends, advertising and marketing activities to ensure the
right message is delivered to the public in line with the corporate brand
strategy, guidelines and Corporate Vision and Mission.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
Qualifications
Essential:
An honors degree in any of the following courses; Mass Communication, Marketing,
International Relations and Diplomacy, Media and Public Relations from a recognized university
Desirable:
Professional qualification in Marketing such as CIIMA is an added advantage
Experience and Knowledge
a) At least one (2) years’ experience in a marketing environment for a fast growing product;
Public Relations, and Brand management
b) Knowledge of market trends, advertising and brand management principles
c) Demonstrated experience in Marketing and Computer skills
d) Proven knowledge of media laws in Uganda and Internationally
e) Have a network of media houses and professionals
Character & Abilities:
a) Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly staff relations, oral and written
communications
b) High-level integrity and confidentiality
c) Demonstrate sound work ethics
d) Effective verbal, listening and communications skills
e) Ability to work under pressure
