TPO Uganda seeks to recruit a competent person to fill the position of one of its projects in North

This position reports to the Program Manager

 Job summary/key responsibilities

    This position will be responsible for providing overall technical leadership to the project; including managing all aspects of project implementation; through liaison with implementing partners and other field staff;
    Preparing and maintaining of reports;
    Providing overall responsibility for the day to day operations including finance, administration and procurement;
    Coordination and accountability of project activities and resource utilization.

 Person specification: Essential Experience

    Previous experience of working in an NGO with — 5 years in a coordination position in the areas of Child rights, psychosocial support, community rehabilitation, trauma support, mental health; post conflict social protection.
    Experience working in local government systems, managing private/public partnerships.

 Essential Skills and Knowledge

    Proven ability to motivate and develop a team.
    Excellent organizational skills with ability to coordinate activities.
    Ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally

 Qualifications

    A degree in Social work, Social sciences, Development studies or a related field of study.
    A post graduate qualification in project management will be an added advantage.
