Job Description
Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer
Job Purpose:
To promote and sell integrated logistics products including value added services, develop and recommend new sales opportunities.
Main Responsibilities:
Initiate market exploration.
Refer to all relevant information and statistics to target new customers,
Identify the logistics potential of clients and recommend the same to the Management team.
Facilitate information and opportunity transfer to other sales channels.
Systematically and constructively provide feedback to the product owners based on the findings in the market and from the customers to improve the services of the organisation.
Liaise with.Customer Service staff on a regular basis in order communicate any special requirements from customers.
Ensure optimal sales/operational processes are in place to maintain high service standards.
Collaborate with other staff to ensure best practices and trade/industry knowledge is shared.
Submit monthly account specific sales reports and other Ad-hoc reporting as required.
Qualifications;
A University Degree from a recognized University.
Experience: Essential:
A minimum of 3 years sales experience.
Preferred:
Experience in freight forwarding.
