Post: Sales Manager
Reporting to the Managing Director, the key responsibility of this role is to identify, generate and grow business opportunities, and to negotiate deals through to closing, Specifically the key duties shall be to:
• Manage the sales team and achieve and exceed assigned volume and/or margin targets
• Identify, initiate and progress new business opportunities
• Market the full range of products to a wide diversity of commercial customers in order to achieve targets
• Ensure response to a range of customer enquiries, anticipating customer needs and resolving Issues as appropriate
• Maintain and enhance relationships with existing customers to maximize business opportunities
• Identify and recommend improvements to existing processes and procedures
• Ensure all documentation is prepared/completed in accordance with relevant Internal/external requirements
Qualifications and Experience
A graduate degree in a business related discipline,
At least 3 years experience in a fast paced sales environment
Experience in an FMCG environment will be an added advantage
Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
• Excellent communications and presentation skills
• Strong leadership and motivational abilities
• Commitment to Customer Service
• Computer literacy In Microsoft Excel and Word
• Drive for results
• Initiative and very high Integrity.
