Job Title: Head Marketing

Station: Kampala

Reports to: CEO



Duties and Responsibilities:

- Directing and overseeing the company marketing function to identify and developing new customers for products and services.

- Researching and developing strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and net growth areas.

- Analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of products sales, methods, costs and results.

- Developing and managing marketing budgets, and overseeing the development and management of internal operating budgets.

- Establishing and implementing short-and long-range goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures.

- Promote positive relations with business partners.

- Working with development managers and corporate staff to develop five year and ten year business plans for the company.



Education and Qualifications:

A Business degree majoring in marketing.

A Masters of Science in Marketing /CMA will be an added advantage.



Experience:

- 5 years of experience in senior-level sales and /or marketing position.

- Previous experience in strategic planning and execution as well as knowledge of contracting and negotiating is also required.
