Media Buying & Merchandising Manager

Job Title: Media Buying & Merchandising Manager.

Station: Kampala

Reports to: CFO



Duties and Responsibilities:

- Purchasing all media merchandise in the media store, this includes troubleshooting purchase as necessary.

- Representing the media store to vendors.

- Pricing, planning and arranging merchandise for display.

- Responding to inquiries and complaints regarding merchandise.

- Controlling inventory and checking records of sales and stock.

- Assisting in developing policies.

- Participate in taking bookstore inventory.

- Receiving shipments and verifying all invoices.



Education & Qualifications:

- Bachelors or an associate’s degree or diploma in the field of relating, merchandising, sales and marketing from an accredited institution.

- A post graduate degree in marketing, merchandising or any other discipline will be an added advantage.



Experience:

- 3 years experience in purchasing and merchandising.

- Experience in working at a media store will be added advantage.

- Proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word and Excel.

- Knowledge of all legal documentation processes for producing goods and supplies for the store.
