Media Store General Manager:

Job Title: Media Store General Manager.

Station: Kampala

Reports to: Chief Operations Officer.



Duties and Responsibilities:

- Planning of the type of stock and time to be purchased.

- Merchandising all required stock.

- Identifying sales opportunities and managing promotions.

- Promoting positive relations with business partners and the public

- Directly managing major and critical customers.

- Recruiting, training and appraising of subordinates to manage poor performance.

- Able to operate independently with a high degree of autonomy.

- Flexible and responsive

- Strong creative drive





Education and Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in business studies, Management, Library and Information Science, Travel/Tourism or Recreation/Leisure Studies. A certificate in merchandising will be an added advantage.



Experience:

3 years experience in an operations management position within the retail sector.
