Research Fellow Job Vacancy- Economic Policy Research Centre

Job Title: Research Fellow (Microeconomist)



Main Duties:

- Undertake empirical microeconomic policy research and analysis

- Engage in commissioned work for and on behalf of the Centre

- Based on research findings and sound analysis, contribute to national policy discourse.



Requirements:

- Minimum of Master’s degree by coursework & research in Economics, Agricultural Economics or Statistics from a recognized University.

- Recent graduates of doctoral degree in (a) shall be added advantage.

- Comprehensive knowledge of, and ability to apply modern economic theory and methods.

- Strong analytical skills.

- Proven high level writing skills as primary author in published research papers, review etc.

- Demonstrated ability to use STATA, EViews, GAMS or GAUSS for data analysis

- Unquestionable integrity.

- A minimum of six years working experience in relevant public or private sector institutions, three of which should be in policy-oriented work.
