Job Title: Communications Executive

Reports To: Corporate Communications Manager
Job Purpose:
To provide support to external and internal communications activities under the approved communications plan.

Key responsibilities:
To assist in the development of key messaging/brief notes.
To support the Corporate Communications Manager in developing corporate publications such as corporate brochures, newsletters, magazines, annual reports etc.
Responsible for planning and implementation of corporate events and exhibitions. To organize and coordinate all company field visits with external stakeholders to the Tullow Operations in the Albertine Graben.
To develop and coordinate all advertising related initiatives in liaison with the Corporate Communications Manager and supporting agencies.
To coordinate the sponsorships and donations process for the business in liaison with the Corporate Communications Manager.
To support in the development of internal communication campaigns supporting business operations. »
To support development of corporate presentations and business updates.
To support the development of corporate video filming and production. , ~ •
To manage the media monitoring and reporting on a daily basis.
To work in collaboration with the Corporate Affairs team to support the business. To support effective Corporate Brand Management in development of corporate branded materials.
Requirement:

A university degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Management or Marketing from a reputable University.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in a similar role.
Minimum of 1 year experience in media event management, sponsorship management and working with advertising agencies.
Knowledge and Skills: Essential:
Planning and organizing skills.
Computer skills.

Preferred working experience in a major infrastructure development.

Understanding and knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
