MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be Ugandans holding degrees in Business Information Technology/Management from a recognized University/Institution. Post graduate diploma in research management; project management or general management will be an added advantage.
WORKING EXPERIENCE:
Applicants should have a minimum of three (3) years working experience in Public Sector or reputable private sector organization. The applicants should exhibit experience in knowledge based tools such as websites and knowledge sharing platforms; Information Technology environment; project or consultancy management and must have well developed interpersonal skills. Experience in educational research and/or consultancy will be an added advantage.
DUTIES:
The incumbent will be responsible to the Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance and will perform the
following duties:
- Providing knowledge management and analysis function in the OAG.
- Developing and maintaining a library and research facility to carry out targeted research for specific audit issues.
- Undertaking research into relevant areas of audit activities to ensure that the OAG keeps up to date with current developments.
- Maintaining online library and information services.
- Ensuring that the OAG’s technical records are electronically stored and safe-guarded.
- Articulating knowledge sharing and fostering a knowledge culture in the OAG.
- Working closely with heads of departments to monitor and evaluate systems in the OAG and assessing knowledge management gaps with aim of developing a sustainable organisational plan to bridge the gaps.
- Ensuring that content management standards are understood and practised in the OAG.
- Coordinating pilot testing of new systems and processes for the monitoring and evaluation of knowledge management programs in the OAG.
- Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
