Terms and Overall Responsibility:
• The positions will have a 3 years work period after 3 months of probation period, and they are renewable.
• Successful applicants of the above positions shall be required to independently employ their broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures in rice cultivation.
• May have opportunities of training on rice technology in Japan or in relevant countries shall routinely carry out research and training in NaCRRi and other related institutions

Tasks and responsibilities:
• Implement research methodologies for rice production and manage experimental fields
• Study and develop appropriate crop, water and soil management technologies
• Study on weeds and nutrient mining on crop yield, diseases and insects pests
• Rice seed purification, multiplication and management

Minimum Requirements:
Applicants should be at least a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture or any other related field with research experience in agromy.
Should possess good skills in experiemental design, data collection, analysis, interpretation and report writing, possession of a masters degree is an added advantage.
