Job Title: Legal Officer

Reports to: Respective Supervisor

Role:
To provide and monitor litigation services, tribunal and courts of Judicature, in cases arising from implementation of the tax laws; implement the departmental work plans, inteprete and compile policy documents and rulings in line with the departmental guidelines and relevant laws

Person Specifications:
• Honors Bachelor LLB degree
• Diploma in Legal Practice
• Enrollement as an Advocate
• Computer literacy
Knowledge and experience:
• At least 2 years experience in legal practice in large organizations coorporate entities or in a private practice
• Knowledge of taxation and employment laws will be added advantage
Character and Abilities:
• A positive and confident attitude
• Strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
Age limit: maximum age of 30 years
