Job Description
The American Refugee Committee (ARC) International is an International nonprofit, nonsectarian organization that provides humanitarian assistance and training to millions of beneficiaries around the world. The ARC Ber-bedo Project seeks to promote peaceful and safe communities where men and women have equal rights and communities can access locally owned, high-quality services. ARC is an equal opportunity employer and is currently looking for competent persons to fill the position of Partnership Manager based in Gulu.
Overall Purpose of the position
Reporting to the Coordinator, the Partnership Manager will work closely with Civil Society partner organizations, acting as the key focal contact point within ARC for identified partners, providing support supervision, mentoring and monitoring.
Key Result Areas
Provide leadership and support for ARC activities and CSO partner activities running within the area of focus.
Conduct technical and organizational capacity assessments, develop action plans, and facilitate training, mentoring, and capacity building activities with Civil Society partners.
Provide support supervision to partners and Civil Society Organization Staff
Write and submit monthly training and activity reports with data collected from both ARC and CSO partner activities.
Work closely with the Communications Officer to ensure IEC materials are produced for both ARC and CSO partner activities.
Work closely with the M&E Officer to ensure monitoring plans and tools are utilized by all program staff and data is accurate and timely.
Educational qualifications, experience and competences
University Degree in social sciences, public health or other relevant field desired.
Knowledge of the guiding principles and IASC Guidelines on GBV Interventions in Humanitarian Settings.
At least 3 years training experience on GBV and protection issues, prior experience managing a local organization with significant supervisory experience.
In-depth knowledge of training programs including assessments, instructional design, action planning, program delivery, and monitoring and evaluation.
Motorbike riding experience and license desired.
