About this job

Our Client Total E&P Uganda is seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates for the above vacancy;

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for the pipe yard organization, reception, storage, maintenance, delivery and inventory of tubular in the logistics base.
Ensures that tubular items are stored in the proper location and kept in good condition at all times.
Follows-up on tubular movements, inspection and repair by third parties.
Supervises the dispatching requirements in addition to the loading and offloading operations using handling equipment such as forklifts or cranes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
5-8 years experience working in stock management, logistics or operational activities.
Profound knowledge and awareness of Health, Safety and Environmental international regulations.
Good organization and planning skills, as well as proven ability to supervise a team.
Able to work under stress and react quickly.
