PETROLEUM OFFICER, LABORATORY

SALARY : UGANDA GOVERNMENT, SCALE U4
AGE : 21 YEARS AND ABOVE


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, Bio Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial chemistry or any other related studies from a recognized University/Institution.

He/she should have the following Key Competencies;
• Team work
• Results orientation
• Planning, organizing and coordinating
• Customer care

DUTIES:

The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Petroleum Officer for performing the following duties:

• Assisting in running and operation of the Petroleum Testing Laboratory.
• Assisting in the operation of field mobile laboratories.
• Assisting in the establishment and implementing a system for routing sampling and testing of customer site products for analysis.
• Assisting in the establishment of a commercial basis for third party testing of petroleum products.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
