MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelors Degree in either Business Administration or Commerce or Statistics or Economics from a recognized University/ Institution.

DUTIES:

The incumbent will be responsible to the Principal Petroleum Officer/Reserves for performing the following duties:

• Ensuring that quality tests are carried out on all products handled with respect to grade and specification and that the fuel is delivered to the right tanks.
• Carrying out daily water checks on all product tanks and ensuring dipping of all product tanks every morning and evening after close of business.
• Ensuring safe custody of fuel in the reserve tanks and that spillage and leakage of fuel is avoided at all times.
• Carrying out monthly stocks reconciliation
• Ensuring that all operations are carried out in accordance with the agreed procedures, accepted standards of safety good practice and that security arrangement are adequate to protect the personnel, assets and operations of the reserve facilities.
• Ensuring that personnel involved in depot operations are thoroughly acquainted with all relevant safety regulations particularly those relating to fire precautions.
• Maintaining records of all accidents.
• Preparing work plans for management and maintenance of national fuel reserves
• Assisting the Principal Petroleum Officer in preparing budgetary estimates for the section.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
