Programme Manager- Employment Opportunity In Uganda, ( HURINET UGANDA)

Position: Programme Manager

Main Duty: In close collaboration with the Chief Executive Officer, the Programme Manager will provide oversight/direction/guidance to all the pro¬gramme staff to enable realization of effective implementation of programme activities.

Specific Duties: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
• To offer technical and professional leadership in (consultation with the CEO) to programming in regard to;
• Development of annual work plans.
• Development and improvement or modification of the programs.
• Development of programs and strategy documents (advocacy strategy, net¬work development strategy and the capacity building strategy).
• Ensuring responsiveness of HURINET-U programs and projects to the national, regional and international developments of urgent nature, or unique context, in consultation with the CEO.
• Advise management on national, regional and international developments which require the response and action of the Network.
• Spearhead the- design and implementation of the Biennial Human Rights Baseline survey every after two (2) years
• To ensure generation of quality of concepts and project proposals; and gen¬erally ensure resources are mobilized for the implementation of the projects/ programs. To be part of the fundraising and resource mobilization committee of HURINET-U
• To be responsible for programs and projects quality assurance,
• To coordinate the projects and programs so as to ensure synergy, efficiency, effectiveness in the operations.
• To oversee the Implementation of the M and E/the Capacity Tracer System (CIS).
• To supervise the programs staff.
• To be part of the fundraising and resource mobilization of the projects/ programs.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Management or the Board.

Specifications:
a, Education: A graduate or higher degree in Human rights, social sciences, political science, international relations, law, development studies, govern¬ment history or related field is desirable (relevant experience will be substi¬tuted for desired educational level),
