Job Title: IT Officer

Age: 25 Years & Above


Qualifications And Working Experience:

● A Ugandan National with a Degree in Computer Science /IT/IS or any related field from a recognised University/Institution.

● Professional training in CCNA, MCSE and/or GIS will be an added advantage.

● A minimum of 3(three) years of relevant working experience.



Competences:

● Analytical, communication and Interpersonal skills

● Problem solving and troubleshooting skills



Duties:

● Assesses IT Needs of the Data Centre and provides Technical guidance and support IT related activities.

● Conducts routine network administration and maintenance

● Ensures adequate backup and security of the IT infrastructure

● Installation, maintenance, and upgrading of hardware and software

● Ensures the development and maintenance of PRDP Website.

● Develops Specifi cations for acquisitions of hardware, software and accessories for the Centre’s IT Infrastructure.

● Any other related duties assigned from time to time.
