Job Description (Duties):
Purpose of the Role
To work with BCR's corporate clients focusing on growth, managing the risk and relationship across the portfolio, as well as recommending more products and providing business advice that is beneficial to the bank and to the clients.
Duties and responsibilities:
Managing existing and new customers with particular emphasis on high standards of personal service whilst maximizing income.
Proactively conduct strategic account reviews with all assigned customers on a regular basis to review service needs and usage trends plus identify products and pricing that meet customer needs and business objectives.
Proactively identify Accounts whose revenue may be shrinking so as to address any "at risk" customers and reach out to these accounts to ensure they are retained as customers.
Deliver ongoing market analysis and assessment of competitors and market intelligence with a focus on the future and value creation.
Retain accounts through the development of string relationships with key decision makers and users within an organization.
Necessary Qualifications:
Qualifications and Skills:
A relevant business degree and/or professional qualifications in Finance Business, Banking or related fields.
4 years solution based sales experience gained within commercial or corporate banking.
Strong interpersonal and relationship- building skills combined with customer care are essential.
Ability to undertake in-depth assessment of accounts combined with sound credit appraisal and analytical skills.
Strategic perspective and good knowledge of the Rwandan business market is preferred.
Excellent skills in sales, marketing, negotiation, and business development.
Strong written and personal presentation skills are essential.
Good leadership and teamwork skills.
