Job Title: Senile Agriculture and Livelihood Officers
Station: West Nile.
Report to: Program Manager, West Nile.

Qualifications:
• At least a bachelors’ degree in relevant field including agricultural/natural sciences, agro business, development studies and any other related field.
• Minimums of 4 years work experience direct relevant to the duties of the position preferably with international NGOs.
• Work experience with vulnerable groups and communities in rural setting with diverse cultures.
• Good knowledge of the local context.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Excellent report writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Very good knowledge for FFS methodology is and added advantage.

Responsibilities:
• Direct all DRC livelihood support to the targeted beneficiaries.
• Provision of technical and programmatic leadership for the livelihoods.
• Promote gender-sensitive livelihoods programming.
• Supervise a team of livelihood staff.
• Contribute in the development of the project plans/budgets.
• Coordinate the delivery of expected project outputs on time.
• Develop relationship with a range of key stakeholders in OPM, UN agencies, Local governments.
• Participate in the program operational and long term planning.
• With support from his/her supervisor, draw work plans/budgets.
• Monitor and document DRC’s livelihood activities.
