Administrative Officer Job- Business Development Centre

Job Title: ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER - (UICT SCALE 6)

Reporting to: Coordinator Business Development Centre

Main purpose of the job

Provide administrative and office support to the Coordinator Business Development Centre in the planning and execution of training, consultancy and research programmes.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Enroll students, monitor and report on training process including student and lecture attendance.

Assist the Coordinator with development of strategic and operational plans for the Business

Development Centre Participate in product development; that is training programmes and bidding documents for training and consultancy work.

Participate in the development and periodically review of a marketing plans for the Business Development Centre Regularly conduct market research to establish the market needs

Carry out marketing and promotional activities for training programs and other services under Business Development Centre Compose advertising and promotional materials Manage client relationships and liaise with the media Conduct presentations and attend client meetings

Maintain and update the marketing database Conduct training and research in related activities Write completion reports Liaise with the Office of the Bursar in billing and debt collection
Qualification/Training: An Honours Degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Information Technology, Marketing or any other relevant degree. At least 3 years experience in sales and marketing, preferably in education and or IT sector.
