Job Title: ASSISTANT LECTURER – DEPT OF ICT (UICT Scale 6)

Number of Posts - 4 Reporting to: Head of Department

Main purpose of the job

Assistant Lecturers under the supervision of a senior academic staff participates in all the academic and administrative activities as they get acquainted with techniques of delivering training.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Under the supervision of a senior academic staff develop course materials for use in program delivery

Deliver courses to students Set examinations, mark and submit student performance records to Head of Department Contribute to the program and administrative development of the Department

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS: Qualification/Training: Honours first degree in relevant field plus 2 years of teaching in a recognized institution of higher learning or 2 years of industrial experience. A Masters Degree is an added advantage. Relevant fields include Electronics, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and related fields.
